Rules

  • This tournament will follow Baseball NL rules specific to each division with the exception to those below which have been created specifically for this tournament.
  • All players will be in the batting lineup.
  • All games will be 6 innings in length.
  • Players in the Peewee I Division can pitch a maximum of 8 innings in the tournament, 4 innings per game.
  • Pitcher inning limits will be strictly enforced and will be tracked by the score keeper. Official inning counts for every pitcher will be posted on our website.
  • Tie-Breaking will first consist of head-to-head matchup, then runs against/defensive innings played.
  • In round robin play, home team is decided by a coin toss.  In crossover/medal games, the home team is awarded to the higher seeded team.
  • No new inning can be started after 1 hour and 45 minutes from the actual start time of the game (not the scheduled time).
  • There will be a 3-run limit per inning. The 10-Run Mercy Rule will come into effect after the fourth inning in all divisions.
  • Ties will stand in round robin play. In crossover/medal games, extra innings will occur if the game is tied after 6 complete innings.
  • If a crossover/medal game is tied after 6 innings, the pitcher who finished the 6th inning will be granted 1 more inning.
  • The tournament cost is $350 per team.
