We ask coaches to submit your nominations for the award each and every Saturday until the final week of the season. When choosing your nominee please keep in mind the spirit of this award. This award is about determination, never giving up, a show of courage, strength in one area or another, overcoming certain obstacles...first hits, first runs, first stolen base, or trying a position one never thought they'd ever try. Courage to overcome a fear, determination to never give up even though maybe you might not be hitting as well as others. Determination to make a catch, or courage to simply step into the batters box or on the mound.
Personal success can be measured in so many ways, so think home runs and strikeouts but also think of the smaller successes as well when choosing your nominees. I'm certain Noah will lend a helping hand along the way if you ask!

WEEK #2 -
WEEK #3 - Logan Munden is our week #3 award winner. Logan plays on the Rookie Pirates and is in his first year. When the score is a bit lopsided Logan always has a smile on his face. In the games the Pirates have played so far Logan has gotten on base a few times and even scored 2 runs! He has an incredible amount of character and hustle and always inspires people around him. Great job Logan!!!
WEEK #4 - Co-Winners - Emily and Anna Lane are co winners of the player of the week award for week #4. Emily and Anna play on the LWF Bantam Girls Rangers. These are the most dedicated players a coach could ever ask for. They show up at every batting practice, every fielding practice, always wearing big smiles and the first to arrive, ready to go! Congratulations Emily and Anna, very deserving!
WEEK #5 - Macy O'Sullivan is our player of the week winner for week #5. Macy is a true team player always smiling and encouraging her Bantam Warriors teammates. Regardless of the situation she is determined and never quits. Because of her determination Macy was rewarded by going 2 for 2 at the plate facing tough pitching. Congratulations Macy!
