About Us

All Star NFL Flag provides children the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of flag football in an exciting, fun and safe environment, with a focus on healthy competition to help our players learn life lessons through both winning and losing.  Committed to the sport and the children on our teams, we strive to be the Northern Colorado leaders of the NFL Youth Flag Football movement and believe we achieve this through our efficiently-run programs, high quality coaches, and our commitment to building integrity in our players.  Our unique, safety-focused recreational and competitive NFL Flag Football leagues foster fun, sportsmanship and perseverance while enhancing skills in our players ages 4-14.

 

REGISTRATION OPEN FOR OUR RECREATIONAL AND COMPETITIVE NFL FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUES

 

SATURDAY RECREATIONAL LEAGUE:

If your child/team is a beginner, just working on the fundamentals, or not quite ready to take the next step, then the Recreational League is for you.  Maybe you don't have the time to commit to extra practices each week but you would still like to be part of a fun team. These team practice 1x per week and have 1 game per week.  The league is based on equal playing time at rotating positions that will help to develop players into the top tier players in the future.

- Focuses on development and having fun

- Mandates equal playing time

- Urges kids to play all positions

- Practices 1 time per week (generally 1 hour before each game); teams play 1 game each Sunday

- Does not keep score in K & Under and 1st-2nd grade Division

- 3rd-4th and 5th-6th Grade Divisions do keep score, but is not public

- 6 game regular season plus 1 extra Bowl Game Best Matchup (7 games total)

- Receive participation medal and pizza party to conclude season

- Divisions are: K & Under, 1st-2nd Grade, 3rd-4th Grade, 5th-6th Grade & 7th-8th Grade

SUNDAY COMPETITIVE LEAGUE:

- Focuses on honing skills and healthy competition

- Plays all players, but playing time is at coaches discretion

- Teams consist of 10 or more players (coaches build teams, then free agents fill in)

- Players are assigned to positions based on skill level

- Practice is 1-2 times per week; teams play 1-2 games each Sunday

- Teams play bonus single elimination tournament, "Super Bowl Championship" up to 4 extra games

- Playoff tournament divided into "Gold" and "Silver" bracket based on regular season records

- Divisions are: K&Under, 1st-2nd Grade, 3rd-4th Grade, 5th-6th Grade & 7th-8th Grade
