2016 - 2017 Girls Westmoreland County Champions
The FRHS 2016 -2017 Girls Team had a successful season by placing first at the Westmoreland County Coaches Association Meet at Derry High School. They placed second in WPIAL Section 3. At the WPIAL meet, they had 12 WPIAL Qualifiers with 1 individual medalists and 3 relay medalists. For the PIAA state meet, they had 5 PIAA Qualifiers. There was 1 FRHS record broken during the season.
2016 - 2017 Boys Team Section 3 Champions
The FRHS 2016 -2017 Boys Team had a successful season by placing 3rd at the Westmoreland County Coaches Association Meet at Derry High School. They were WPIAL Section 3 Champions. They had 13 WPIAL qualifiers, 2 WPIAL individual medalists and 1 relay medalists. For the PIAA state meet, they had 6 PIAA qualifiers. There was 1 FRHS record broken and 1 tied during the season.
GIRLS WESTMORELAND COUNTY CHAMPS AND SECTION 1 CHAMPIONS 2015 - 2016
The 2015 - 2016 Franklin Regional Girls Team had a very successful season last year by placing First at the Westmoreland County Coaches Meet at Derry High School against 13 other teams in Westmoreland County. They were WPIAL Section 1 Champs for the third year in a row and placed 6th out of 12 teams at the 2016 WPIAL's meet. They had 39 WPIAL Qualifiers and 8 Medalists.
BOYS WESTMORELAND COUNTY AND SECTION 1 RUNNER UP 2015 - 2016
The FRHS 2015 -2016 Boys Team had a successful season by placing Second out of 16 teams at the Westmoreland County Coaches Association Meet at Derry High School where the boys 200 Free Relay broke the meet record. They finished Second in the WPIAL Section 1 and placed Sevenths out of 15 teams at the WPIAL meet. They had 30 WPIAL Qualifiers and 5 PIAA Qualifiers, WPIAL 6 medalists and 1 PIAA medalist bringing home two medals and two relays qualifying. There was one FRHS record broken and 1 tied.
THE 2014 - 2015 FRHS BOYS AND GIRLS TEAMS SEASON RECAP
The 2014 - 2015 FRHS Swim and Dive Team recap once again showed a very successful season for both teams. The Girls won their second Sectional Championship in WPIAL Section 1 and placed 6 at the WPIAL's meet and the boys placed Second in the WPIAL Section 1. There were 78 WPIAL Qualifiers, 14 WPIAL Medalists and 11 PIALL qualifiers. There were 2 FRHS records broken.
THE 2013 - 2014 FRHS BOYS AND GIRLS TEAMS SEASON RECAP
The FRHS Swim and Dive team finished a very successful year for the team with a WPIAL Section 1 Championship for the Girls team who placed 7th at WPIAL's and they Boys who placed 2nd in the WPIAL Section 1 and 5th place at WPIAL's. There were 33 WPIAL qualifiers, 13 PIAA qualifiers and 1 FRHS school record broken.
