RATINGS

Below are the USL rating terms and what they mean:

LEVEL 1 - This is an emerging rating that is good for one year and certifies the official to do all levels of youth.  With Chapter recommendation, the Level 1 official can work the appropriate ages at USL sanctioned tournaments.

LEVEL 2 - This rating will be issued in 1 year, 2 year or 3 year terms.  This certifies that the official is qualified to officiate all levels of youth, participate in all USL sanctioned tournaments and it is recommended that the official take the PIAA test to be able to officiate JV/Varsity high school games.

LEVEL 3 - This is a rating to certify that an official is proficient in three man officiating.  This is a transitional rating, as well as a way for a Level 2 official to improve their game to officiate at the collegiate level.
