Tournament gets going tonight as long as Mother Nature doesn't ruin it.

In Clarington we will see the Montreal Mets take on the Tri-Cities Wood Ducks, Game will be starting at 8:00pm

In Mississauga it will be the Mississauga CardiKnights taking on the Mississauga Cubs at 9th Line North and the Erindale Sexy Black Sheep against the Mississauga Orioles at Erindale Cardinals field , both games will also be at 8:00pm.

The tournament will then continue in the morning with games at 8:30am in Clarington.

The 2019 Dodgers Fall Classic Tournament has added it's 15th and final team with just under two weeks to go till the start of the tournament on Friday September 27th.

The 2019 Dodgers Fall Classic Tournament organisers are very happy to announce that the tournament is now full after adding their 14th team this afternoon. The tournament will only increase if a 4th diamond is secured by the end of August.

2019 Dodgers Fall Classic Tournament organizers have decided to increase the number of teams they will accept for this year's tournament up to 14 from the original 12.

After careful deliberation it was decided that last year's tournament run with 14 teams ran well with 3 parks, so considering that it was decided to go again with 14 this year.

The tournament already has its 13th team booked and their position secured.

Tournament organizers are still endeavouring to get a 4th diamond, so that the tournament can increase up to 16 teams.

With just a little under 2 months till the start of the 2019 Dodgers Fall Classic Tournament we have our 12th team secured. This is the earliest ever that the tournament has been fully booked.

Welcome aboard Mississauga Orioles.

Now tournament organizers will begin work on securing a 4th diamond, with the goal of increasing the tournament to 16 teams. The search started yesterday and we should have an answer one way or another by the end of August.

So if you have a team that is interested in taking part in the tournament, you can still reserve one of those final spots by sending in your deposits or you can wait until the announcement is made that we do or do not have a fourth diamond. Going forward any deposits received will be reimbursed if a diamond is not found. Teams that do send in a deposit not only go to the top of the list for the possible four additional spots but are also at the top of the list should one of the original 12 teams pull out of the tournament.

Stay tuned for further updates. As soon as a 4th diamond is secured it will be announced.

This past weekend, tournament organizers were thrilled to welcome aboard, the York Mets (10th team) and the Nickle City Nickels (11th team).

This leaves only one spot remaining to be filled in the 12 team tournament.

Tournament organizers will look at expanding to 16 teams by the end of August if interest is there. We are currently looking for a 4th diamond on the Saturday.

We are thrilled to announce that two more teams have secured their spots for this year's Dodgers Fall Classic Tournament bringing our total up to eight.

In and effort to give teams both secured and interested an idea of what they could be looking at schedule wise for the tournament, we have posted a draft 12 teams schedule. Nothing is written in stone and changes to the schedule could and probably will happen based on teams request and also where teams are coming from.

As you will notice there are two games on the Friday night of the tournament. One will be played in Mississauga and one will be played in Port Hope. If your team is interested in playing in either of these games please let us know.

This fills up 6 of 12 spots for the tournament, don't miss out on what should be a great tournament. Remember to secure your teams spot in the tournament a deposit of $200.00 needs to be sent in.

Date of Tournament: September 27th to 29th

Number of teams: 12 teams - 3 divisions of 4 teams each

Round Robin: Each team guaranteed 3 games

Playoffs: Top 2 teams from each division move on to playoffs. Teams seeded 1st to 8th. Top two seeded teams get BYW to Semi-Finals

Cost: $600 per team, a $200 Deposit is required to secure a spot in the tournament.

Parks: Clarington Fields SW and SW, Port Hope Agriculture Park

Prize money: Champions and Runner-ups to receive at least $800 and $400 respectively. This could change one all bills have been paid.

The 2019 Dodgers Fall Classic will be celebrating its 13th year in existence on September 26th to 28th. Games will be played at Clarington Fields SW and NW, as well as Port Hope. Target number for teams is 12, with each team guaranteed 3 games.
