2020 Season Details






Uniform fitting for the Fall 2020 season will be in May at a location TBD.  We have contingencies in place should we need a virtual fitting.




$195 for the fall season

($255 - COVID19 Discount = $195)


Registration Requirements

  • Girls entering 3rd-6th grade for 2020-2021 school year.
  • Completed registration form with parent/guardian signature.  This can be done by completing the online registration form on this site.


Season Time Commitment
  • Attend a Saturday pre-season day camp in July/August. (Exact dates TBD)
  • Practices 2 nights per week and game performances on Saturdays (~ 4-6 hrs/week).
  • Practices will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting in mid to late August from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at one of the local elementary school parking lots.
  • Practices are held outdoors.
  • Performances in the fall are at local stadiums (there is a minimal admission fee to get into the stadium, drill team participants are free)
  • March together as a team in local parades
  • End-of-season showcase for parents, family, and friends






All 6th graders are able to audition for an officer position.


A dancer is able to serve as an officer if she meets ALL of the following requirements:

  • Entering the 6th grade in the upcoming school year.
  • Learn an audition routine provided by WDT AND attend a rehearsal.
  • Audition for a panel of judges
  • Answer brief verbal questions for the judges at your audition to demonstrate leadership.
  • Attend a mandatory officers’ camp.
  • Make Wylie Drill Team your number one priority extracurricular activity (outside of family and church). Officers commit to attend all practices, parades, other special events, additional practice for specialty dances, etc.





Camp Dates/Times TBD

Wylie Drill Team will perform Saturdays at halftime during local youth football games from September through November.
