2020/21 Season - Proposed Details
We thank you for your interest in our program and are pleased to advise you of the program that we are able to offer for this coming season:
With the current restrictions we will be limited to 22 players on the ice per hour.
One (1) parent/guardian will be allowed to enter the arena with their child for their hour of ice time.
All people (including players) entering the building will have to wear a mask and will be screened using the COVID-19 questionnaire.
Players will have to come fully dressed and will only be allowed to change their footwear for skates and go onto the ice surface.
Once the session is over, families will be asked to leave the arena as soon as possible.
There will be a complete cleaning of common touch points before the next group arrives.
Due to limited ice availability we will only be running the program once a week and each session will be split into skating instruction with Sandy Velenosi and 3 on 3 games. Our intent is to have siblings on the ice at the same time to limit the number of family trips to the arena.
With the reduction of ice time received, the cost will be $400.00 (payment by e-transfer) OR $415.00 (payment by credit card) per player. We cannot accept cash or cheques at this time.
The season will run from October 31 through March 14, 2021. We will not have ice for our program on December 26 and 27, 2020.
For those parents that have already paid in full for the season we will issue a refund for the amount above $400.00 that has been paid less any credit card fees that we have had to pay ($15.00 administration fee by the processing company).
We appreciate the support of those that volunteer though for this year our on-ice needs will be less and we will need assistance in the off-ice screening and administration because each hour of ice time becomes an hour and a half with the cleaning needed between sessions. If you are able to assist please reply to our general email address email@example.com and we will contact you.
Should you not wish to continue in the program outlined above, please contact our Registrar at his email address of firstname.lastname@example.org to advise us of your decision and a refund of any monies paid will be given.
For those that have not already registered their child for the coming year, you will have until October 15, 2020 to complete the online registration form.
With only Rosedale, Lawfield, Chedoke and the Quad Pad being scheduled to open this year the Hamilton Minor Hockey Council Associations are working to offer the U9 through U18 programs at one or more of those arenas should your child be 7 years old.
