- Blackie joined the team in 2004 playing part time between us and the AAA Red Deer Stags. He won the 2008 Cardinal Cup while playing part time.
Shane took over managerial duties in 2012, and in 2014 was dubbed "The Answer" because he played all 9 positions throughout the season. Was voted FMBA Manager of the Year in 2017, leading us to an FMBA title. (There is no FMBA Manager of the Year but there should be).
He is by far the slowest base runner in the FMBA, and possibly Canada. At 46 years old, he can still pitch effectively, and still hits over .350 in the FMBA without ever warming up.
