Eric is a 6 time Washington State Champion: 3 time State Greco Roman Champion, 2 time State Freestyle Champion and 1 time Folkstyle State Champion. Eric is also a 1 time Silver and 1 time Bronze Freestyle State Championship Medalist and two time Folkstyle Championship Bronze Medalist, a 10 time top 3 State Placer.
The 05/06 season stated 8 weeks late for Eric as he recovered from a broken ankle suffered playing football.
Eric wrestled as a 1st year Novice at 70lbs in Folkstyle and 75lb in Freestyle and Greco.
Highlights of the 2006 season include winning the Freestyle and Greco Roman State championships and winning the Bronze medal in the Folkstyle State Championship.
During the 04/05 season, Eric wrestled as a 2nd year Midget at 65lbs.
Highlights of the 04/05 season include an undefeated season, 64-0 and winning the Washington State Triple Crown Championship, one of only two midgets to do so this season. Eric won the Washington State Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco Roman State Championships. Eric also won the Outstanding Wrestler Award at the Washington State Folkstyle Championships, going 9-0 on the day and going un-scored on. And Eric was awarded the 2005 "Bruce Cook" Award for having the best technique on the team.
