The 3rd Annual Battle of Baltimore Preseason Tournament was broken into two divisions of four teams.  Each team played two of the other three teams in their division (randomly selected).  Top seeds in each division advanced directly to the semi-finals and the two/three seeds played in elimination games.  The bottom seeds would be eliminated and play a consolation game.

The Chesapeake Dodgers win their first Battle of Baltimore title after defeating the Flap Jacks in the championship.  In the 2015 and 2016 Battle of Baltimore, the Dodgers were eliminated by the BrewCrew in Championship and Semi-finals, respectively.  This is the second consecutive year the Flap Jacks have lost in the championship.
