| Where and when is practice ? |
Practice and home games take place at Clear Lake Christian School. Tackle teams practice 3 times a week (Mon, Tue, Thu) and 1 on Saturday until games begin. Flag teams and Lady Texans practice twice a week (Mon or Tue, Thu). |

| How long is practice? |
Practices are limited to 2 hours per session prior to the start of school. Once school begins practices are only 90 minutes long. The normal tackle practice schedule is 6 PM to 8 PM and then 6 PM to 7:30 PM. Flagger and Cheer practice follow the same general guidelines. |

| When does the season start, how long is it? |
The first day of practice is Monday July 25th. The regular season starts on August 20th. The playoffs start on November 5th and the Super Bowl is November 19th. |

| Are there Bye Weeks? |
Yes. STYFA does not play on Labor Day Weekend. This is often the last weekend for family getaways before the school year gets going so as a policy we do not play that weekend. In addtion, most teams will have at least 1 other bye week. These will not determined until the season schedule is finalized in early August. |

| Can I volunteer? |
Yes! Just like all youth organizations it takes a significant amount of parent volunteers to make things run. We have positions open in coaching, chain gang, announcer, clock operators, field setup, concessions and so on. |
