The focus of Fifth and Sixth Grade Lacrosse is FUN, FUNdamentals, development and progress.  Our goal is to prepare these players to be successful at the next level - modified. Games are played on a larger field from this age group on, so time will be spent each practice on conditioning and fitness. Players at this level are expected to already have basic stick skills and game knowledge. We do accept new players at any time, so this means our newer players will work in a small group to get a grasp on fundamentals the first several weeks. We will continue to build on offensive and defensive team concepts while also challenging our players to develop the individual skills of shooting, dodging, feeding, pressure/take away defense and more complicated offensive sets.
