The time has come for the 2019 summer season to begin. Talent has been spread throughout the league during the April 6th draft, and the schedule has provided each team a single game to get off on the right foot this Sunday.

Throughout the season the fellas can expect to have a weekly preview including GAME OF THE WEEK and LOCK OF THE WEEK. Suggestions for other articles are welcome, even though Skip doesn't pay us nearly enough to do this shit.

WEEK 1 GAME OF THE WEEK

MULES VS SPARTANS

The Mules were the feel good story of 2018. Brand new squad, and a loud ass dugout that lived for the 1 o'clock prime times. Their first year success may remind some of the Mighty Ducks of 2017. We all know how that sorry group ended up in 2018. The Mules should be focused on not becoming the Mighty Ducks 2.0 and remaining a play off contender this coming summer. These donkeys added a huge power bat in Quigs that Bean will be placing in the heart of his order to provide some power to the liney. Will this addition to the core group be enough to keep these jackasses heading in the right direction?

Now, when we talk about a good draft look no further than the friggin Sparties. All of sudden these guys have the best infield these asian eyes have ever seen. Johnny Rippa at third, D west at Short, and the vacuum Pat Young at second. FLASH THE DAM LEATHER. These known commodities of the Carver league in the same infield dirt is something to be excited about, especially after what many consider to be a down year for this group last year. Other additions include former Duck Timmy Jones and perennial x factor Mark Wallz.

THE PICK IS IN:

 SPARTANS OVER THE MULES 27-22

WEEK 1 LOCK OF THE WEEK

SUPERFLY OVER ACHEY DOGS

Being absolutely crippled in debt, I need to start making money off this softball league. Let's see how well I have my finger on the pulse of this league of misfits. Feel free to find me this sunday and tell me why I am absolutely dead wrong.

Superfly was a trendy team coming into last year and turned some heads in the debut. Hard to miss with those uniforms running around the ball fields I see them getting off on the right foot this weekend and starting the year off strong. GIVE ME THE $
