In Saturday's (7/27) games, American Legion led all the way against a suddenly injury ridden ROMO'S PIZZA, 17-8.  In the 11:00 game, it was a close game for several innings before Gally's took over and won out over Action Transportation 19-3.
 
In Sunday's (7/28) games, over at Ridgefield, Lia held an early lead over Gally's but batting faltered and Gally's went on to an easy 18-6 win.  Meanwhile over at Harriet Myers, Action Transportation found its hitting shoes and sent ROMO'S to its 2nd loss of the weekend, 17-6.

For Legion, Ralph Scunziano was 4-4, with a double, triple and 2 RBI's.  Bob Finn was 4-4, also with 2 RBI's.  Jim Finn was 3-4 with a double and triple.  Jim Schwab was 3-4 with 2 RBI's. Josh Gelber was 3-4, as was Karen Dunn with 2 RBI's.  Pat D'Addio was 2-4 with 2 RBI's.  Joe Conlon was 2-4 with 2 RBI's.  

 

For ROMO'S, Frank Diana was 3-4 with a double.  Mark Slusar was 3-4, with a double and solo HR.  Ron Buckle was 3-4 with a triple. Greg Purello was 2-3.

 

For Gally's, Mike McGlynn was 2-2 with a walk.  Ken Shaw was 3-3, with 2 doubles and 3 RBI's.  Jeff Prescott and Jonathan Halpert were each 3-4, Jeff with 2 RBI's.  Rusty Gallagher was 2-3, with a walk, HR, and 4 RBI's.  Bob Dial was 2-3.  Carolyn Falconer and Rick Knipper were each 2-3.  Steve Hughes had a solo HR.  Rick Wall contributed a double and 2 RBI's.  George Korchowsky had a triple and 2 RBI's.  John Hughes had a three run HR.

 

For Action Transportation, Steve Kawczak was 2-3 with a double.  Steve Gatt was 2-3, also with a double.  Hector Jimenez had a double and Jesse Paluch contributed a double.

 

 

Sunday:

 

For Gally's, Jeff Prescott was 3-5 with a double and triple.  Rusty Gallagher was 4-4 with a walk, double and 2 RBI's.  Rick Wall was 5-5 with 3 doubles, a homer and 8 RBI's.  Steve Hughes was 3-5, with a double.  George Korchowsky was 2-3 with 2 walks.  Bob Dial was 3-5.   Rick Knipper was 2-4, with a double.

 

For Lia, Brian Collins was 3-4, with a double.  Mike Connelly was 3-4 with a double and 2 RBI's.  Joe Salo was 2-4 with a double.  John Giarrusso was 2-4, with 2 triples.and 3 RBI's.

 

For Action Transportation, Steve Kawczak was 3-3.  Paul Peters was 3-4, with a double, HR, and 5 RBI's.  Mike Harrigan was 3-4.  Steve Gatt was 3-5 with a double and 2 RBI's. Matt Kawczak was 2-4 and 2 RBI's.  Dan Daigenault had 2 RBI's.  Rich Burt had 2 RBI's.
