The tournament was held from March 11 to 13, 2016 at Holland Brook School, Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Reading-Fleming Intermediate School and Readington Middle School and was hosted by Hunterdon Horizon Girls Non-Profit Basketball Organization. Teams from Chatham Travel Basketball, Flemington-Raritan Youth Basketball, Readington Township Recreation, Basking Ridge, East Brunswick, Long Hill Basketball, Montgomery Basketball, Princeton Basketball Club, Rebel Basketball Academy, South Brunswick PAL and Westfield Basketball participated in the event , Each team played four games over the three days. Each team received a team trophy while each player received a trophy or a medal and a T-shirt. IEEE donated a gift to each player who participated in the event.
Individual players were also recognized with awards in memory of James Byrnes Memorial Award (all-tournament team), Cynthia K. Critelli (championship game MVP), Kevin Gilbert Memorial Award (hustle), Maria L. Hartman Memorial Award (sportsmanship) and Drew O’Donoghue Memorial Award (outstanding player in the tournament).
