Volunteer Hours for Middle School?

No one can do everything but everyone can do something.  There are several opportunities to volunteer for Middle School Football.  Please note:  Volunteer hours for MS do not count as volunteer hours for Varsity volunteer hours.

Hoagie Parents:  MS Team & Coaches receives hoagies & Gatorades for ALL AWAY GAMES.  Parent(s) are needed to pick up hoagies and ice the drinks and hoagies on game day.   It is then suggested that you park near the bus so as to facilitate easy distribution to team players and coaches as they board the bus after the game.

Sticks Parents: (3) spots need to be filled for EACH HOME GAME.  The volunteers for these spots will be on the sidelines of the home games and operate the yard markers.

Announcer & Spotter for Home Games:  Volunteers to be seated in the press box.  Can be 1 or 2 volunteers – 1 person to spot (pick out the numbers of the players on the field as the plays occur).  The 2nd person to announce the plays and players as the action happens on the playing field.

Videographer:  Parent to use video camera to record all action on the field.  Once recorded then shared with coaches after the game.  The footage is needed for coaches to use as a teaching tool for players so they can improve their individual and team performance.  Typically viewed the day following all games (HOME and AWAY).

Photographer:  Optional role but appreciated by all MS football families to have candid photographs taken of their sons in the field of play and on off play moments.
