Frosties bats back in action

October 14, 2009
After a near two-week layoff, the Frosty bats returned to town and flattened Who Cares at Venetian last night by scores of  17-8 and 23-4.  A missing Artie "Pants" Maisano caused a stir in Frosty management as their only infielder for the Fall needed a replacement.  Luckily, Joe "Stats" Gonzalez hit his rolodex and brought down an ace in Mike R., who was unstoppable witht he bat and glove last night.

Big nights for everyone last night.  Defense and pitching were very strong.  "Big" Pete Delia made every play at third and John "Woody" Woodworth had an excellent game two there and was hitting laser beams all night.  Senior Advisor Freddo had a grand slam bomb in game one putting Who Cares away.  Joe G, Tom "Gavin Quincy" Kalina, and Nick "I GOT IT" Harrison had big nights at the dish.  Brian "Casino" Goerke handled the pitching with no problems.

We now play Thursday versus TJ Finleys - the team that beat us two weeks ago in one of the worst Frosty bat performances of all time.  The Frosties intend to come out on fire next week and bury them.

Stay tuned!
