Although still a bit sluggish with the bats, the Frosties took care of Venom last night at Venetian by scores of 12-5 and 19-9.  The Frosties were basically in control the entire night as Frosty pitching held down the Venom bats.  With the wins, the Frosties clinched a playoff spot.

 

Big performances by Tom "the Chair" Frem and Coach Freddo led the offensive effort.  Tom "the Chair" Frem blasted two home runs, knocked in 7 of the 12 runs in game one and two more in game two.  Coach Freddo has a perfect 8 for 8 night with a bomb.  Rescue Dom Toscano shored up shortstop and had five hits on the night.  Lou "the Natural" Ohle, in his 2011 Frosty debut had five hits of his own.

 

The Frosties move on to Thursday, 7/21 when they face Duffy's Wing House for a 2nd place battle at Fireman's Field.  All team members may actually be in.  Please stay tuned.
