Hayward United Slaughter Rice Lake at Home

Hayward United Wolfpack were looking for vengeance on an early season loss to Rice Lake, and they got it. The Wolfpack came out with all cylinders pumping, and asserted their dominance when Owen Quast starting the scoring off of a great through ball by Sebastian Paczuski. The Wolfpack struck again in the 26th minute, this time Kaden Bergman slotted the ball home off of a Confidence Idim rebound. Bergman continuted to shred the Rice Lake defense, going on to score 3 more goals, in the 44th, 45th and 55th minutes, completing his 4 goal night. Assists went to Will Hoeschler, Ethan Wolfe and Mohammed Keita. The Wolfpack maintained their scoring streak later in the game, with Durim Camili capitalizing on a beautiful shot from outside of the box in the 73rd minute. Hoeschler and Quast finished out the scoring in the 81st and 85th minutes respectively. Assists were credited to Idim, Wolfe and Bergman. Cole Bergman finished with 4 saves in net and was credited with the shutout. The Wolfpack will be back in action on Saturday in Hibbing, and then on Sunday at 6pm as they take on league leaders Eau Claire Heat FC in Hayward.
