COVID-19 STATEMENT

The Humboldt Eagles remain committed to playing as many games as possible when the season begins. We will continue to monitor ongoing events and undertake the precautions and best practices recommended by public health experts, and urge all baseball fans to follow suit. Humboldt Eagles extends its best wishes to all the individuals who have been impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19).

As we all eagerly wait for baseball’s return, the most important thing is that everyone does their best to protect their health, as well as the health of their family, friends and communities.

As we all wait for updated guidance from local and state health officials and policymakers, the Humboldt Eagles will continue small group workouts and training. During this period we will adhere to the current California State Stage 2 guidelines and Humboldt County regulation Section 9.a.iii regarding outdoor activities. These recreational activities will involve small groups (10 persons), mandated safety distancing and required precautions. Prior to any competitive baseball games, the Humboldt Eagles will submit an action plan based on the current guidelines. At this time, there are no plans for travel outside Humboldt County or to have teams from outside Humboldt County travel here for games. We are hopeful that we will be allowed to have "official" games once Humboldt County has entered Stage 3 on June 12, 2020.

Thank You

Alan Fischel, M.D.
