Oh my god, one year ends and another begins. Our 2018 season was a very memorable one. To the Championship game at Manteno HS  to our epic 17 run inning vs. Indiana Elite to our final out at ISU capturing the Championship,  very impressive.  The players, coaches and parents truly made it a fun season. With this in mind we will go on our final  journey in 2019.  I will continue to work hard making our team the best they can be. Coach Hopkins and Coach Renken will be running the show most of the time while I focus on 13U.  I want to personally thank Coach Hopkins, Coach Scott, Civilian Ray and Coach Renken for all their time they have put in over the last year. A hugh thank you goes out to the Lorek family for providing the cooler of water at each game.  The 2019 year summer should be another great season after out 25-7 record.  We have added another very solid catcher in Xavier DeLuna, strong hitters in Billy Miller, Kyle Walt, Xavier Guiterrez and another solid arm/MIF in Conor Oliver.  This team should compete with any one in the country

Once again thank you for choosing the IL Chargers. For all the new parents, enjoy the experience, the competition, the comraderie and root for all the players.  They need your support during the good times and times they struggle.  So root on and cheer for the Chargers!  

Pretty soon we will get CHAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGEDDDDDDDDDDDDDD UPPPPPPPPPPP!!!
