The Kingsville Knights Peewee Travel squad were victorious this weekend at the 2018 Ralph Hall/Jack McCart Classic Championship this weekend.

After a tough Friday night loss to Belle River, the Knights stormed back with 2 consecutive wins over LaSalle and St.Thomas to earn the right to face Belle River once more in the championship game.

Despite being down 4-0 after the first inning, the Knights found their composure and chipped away with timely hits and great defence. The excellent pitching of starter Jimmy Hidelbrand kept the Braves in check until Matteo Ruggirello came in to close out the game and seal the victory with a hard-fought 12-6 win over a well-coached and determined Belle River squad.
