Mosquito Knights Win Chatham Tournament Championship

The Kingsville Mosquito Majors competed in the Chatham Mosquito tournament this past weekend.
Facing stiff competition, the boys went into the playoffs as the #2 seed following a 3-3 tie with Lasalle Major Gold, a 17-7 loss to Chatham, and a narrow 11-10 victory over Ajax.
In the semi-final, the boys pulled out a come from behind victory, when they scored fours runs, with two out in the sixth, and added the game winner with two runs in the seventh.
They advanced to the final with a hard fought 11-10 win!  In the final, the Knights battled an undefeated Chatham team.
After scoring three runs in the first, the boys never looked back as they broke open a close game with 5 runs in the sixth and went on to take home the championship 12-4.
Great weekend boys!!
