Meet our 2020 MCC Revolution Coaches
Andy Gupton- Revolution Academy
Andy and his wife, Emily, are both from Murray and are Murray State Graduates. Andy started coaching in 2013 and has coached both recreational teams and travel teams in this time. He is the Revolution Academy Director, the U8 coordinator and coaches the 2013 Lady Revolution team. He currently holds his US Soccer Grassroots coaching license. Andy's coaching philosophy is to allow the kids to learn through play and implements this philosophy into much of his coaching with the younger age groups. His love for sports (football, basketball, baseball, and soccer) helps in all areas of coaching, especially with his two daughters that also play soccer for Revolution.
Bronagh Kerins- 2007/2008 Girls, 2008 Boys, 2005/2006 Girls, Revolution Academy
Bronagh is from Sligo, Ireland and came to Murray to play for Murray State University Women's Soccer Team (2011-2015). After graduating, she coached at Drury University (2015-2017) before returning to Murray to coach for Murray High School and Revolution. Bronagh currently holds her D coaching License. She stays extremely busy as she coaches the 2008 boys, 2007/2008 girls, 2005/2006 girls and helps with the Revolution Academy kids.
Bryan McManus- 2010 Boys
Bryan McManus is originally from Metropolis, Illinois and lives in Murray with his wife Lindy and two children Myles and Josey. Bryan's love of soccer began at a young age and has continued even throughout his adult life. Bryan's high school did not offer soccer, so he played club ball on a travel team out of Paducah Ky. In his Senior year of college at SIU he was invited to join the soccer team as a walk on....he refused as he was ready to graduate and begin working. Bryan is currently coaching the 2010 Revolution Boys team in their 3rd season, along with his son Myles McManus. Bryan had his first coaching job right of high school as the assistant coach for Paducah Tilghman Girl's Soccer Team in 1994 and he later also assisted Loan Oak High School. He coached the 2001 Revolution Boys team from 2009-2014....a group of boys that later produced many Kentucky high school state record holders. He had the opportunity to coach the 2001 Super Clubs boys team overseas to play teams from Chester, England and Dublin, Ireland through the Super Clubs National Team Tour. Bryan currently dedicates his time during the off season teaching kids foot skills during the winter months. Bryan currently holds his E coaching license.
Myles McManus- 2010 Boys
Myles is originally from Murray and is currently attending Murray State University where he is majoring in pre-med. He graduated from Calloway County High School in 2019. He played for Calloway County Boys Soccer team where he helped lead his team to state in 2016, 2018 and 2019. He also has played for Revolution from U9-U19 where he ended his career with his u19 boys team winning the State Presidents Cup. After completing his senior year, he decided to begin coaching and now has the 2010 Revolution Boys in their third season. He currently holds his 9v9 and 11v11 Grassroots Coaching License. He is also a USYS certified referee of 3 years. He can often be found hanging out with his friends, fishing, studying or giving private soccer lessons.
Tim Stark- 2009 Girls
Tim is from Murray and is coaching the 2009 Lady Revolution team. He started coaching when his son started playing peewee soccer. At the time, there was a need for coaches and he was able to volunteer. Although Tim never played soccer, he began learning the game as his children started playing. Now after 10 years of coaching, his knowledge and love for soccer continues to grow every year. Tim is currently in the middle of completing his Grassroots Coaching license.
Zak Mathis- 2009 Girls
Zak is from Murray and graduated from Murray High School in 2019. He is currently attending West Ky. Vocational School. He played soccer at Murray High where he broke the Murray High School Boys record of the most goals scored. He also has played for Revolution from U9-U19 where he ended his career with his u19 boys team winning the State Presidents Cup. Zak currently holds his 9v9 and 11v11 Grassroots Coaching license and he helps coach the 2009 Lady Revolution girls.
Evan Pierce- 2004/2005 Boys
Evan is originally from Benton, Ky. He and his wife, Jessie, reside in Murray along with their two dogs, Charlie and Wyatt. Evan played his whole childhood for Marshall County United Soccer Club, now Dynamo. He played high school soccer for Calloway County High School where he went on to play at Campbellsville University. He served as the Calloway County High School assistant coach for 4 years before becoming the head coach the past 3 years. He was named Regional Coach of the Year in 2018. He helped lead the Calloway High School Boys soccer team to state in 2016, 2018 and 2019. He coached the u19 Revolution Boys for 2 years, leading them to win the State Presidents Cup in 2019. He is currently coaching the ('05) Revolution boys. Evan says what lead him to coaching is ultimately the love for the game. It is a passion of his and he was eager to get involved with coaching as soon as he graduated college. Evan currently holds his D Coaching license.
Lauren Bazzell- 2006/2007 Boys and 2004/2005 Boys
Lauren is from Calvert City, Kentucky, and is assisting both the 06/07 Revolution Boys and the 04/05 Revolution Boys teams. Growing up, she played soccer with the Marshall County Soccer Association and West Kentucky Soccer programs. After graduating high school, she played for the Murray State University Women's Soccer team. Once Lauren finished her collegiate soccer career, she became involved in the Murray-Calloway County Soccer Association and focused on coaching her children and others for the last 12 years. Lauren currently assists the Calloway County High School Boy's Soccer Team.
Skylar Nunley- 2011 Boys
Will Ryan- 2009 Boys
Will is from Paducah, Kentucky, and has coached the 2009 Revolution Boys team since 2017. He played for the Reidland High School Boy's Soccer team and after graduation, he played at Georgetown College. Will always had an interest in coaching soccer as it was a sport he played throughout his childhood into his college years. He now focuses on coaching his children at Kentucky Revolution Soccer Club.
Jeremy Bilodeau- 2012 Boys
Jeremy is from Medford, Oregon, and is coaching the 2012 Revolution Boys team. Growing up, he played on a regional travel team in Oregon which granted him the opportunity to play in tournaments all along the West Coast. He has always had a passion for instructing and helping the sport grow, thus his coaching involvement with Kentucky Revolution Soccer Club.
Karson Hendrickson- 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 Girls
Karson is from Benton, Ky where she works as a teacher. She is married to Joshua Hendrickson and is the step-mom to Keyton and Khloe. Karson has played soccer all her life. She grew up playing with West Ky Soccer Club and Revolution. She also played for Marshall County High School. Her love for soccer and kids was an obvious fit for coaching, but she knew it was for sure when her older step-daughter fell in love with the sport as much as she did herself. She is very excited to be a part of the Revolution family and coaching the Lady Revolution 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 teams.
Samantha Lattus- 2012 Boys
Samantha is married to her awesome and supportive husband Jimmy. They have two children Maddox (12) and Cooper (7). Samantha played different levels of soccer including high school and select. She loves the sport and is excited to share that with the kids. She started coaching the Revolution 2012 boys in the Fall of 2019. She is looking forward to working with them and teaching them fundamentals that will help them develop and grow as an individual and as a team....but most importantly have fun along the way.
