Another big thank you for all teams participating in the 2018 Kanata Baseball Association PeeWee Tournament.
It was evident that all of the kids enjoyed their time with their teams, playing baseball and taking in all that sun.
The semifinals were played Sunday morning. The Kanata Cubs Minor baseball gave Lac St Louis Tigers Blue a tough challenge in the first semifinal keeping the game close before Blue pulled away late. In the second semifinal, Lac St Louis Tigers Orange were able to hold off aigles de St Hubert.
That set up an all-Lac St Louis final. The final game has some amazing pitching and incredible defensive efforts. This was a very close game right until the end when Orange was able to outlast Blue for the championship.
Both teams lined up on the baselines and they were presented medals by our league president for all of their effort.
Again, thank you all of the teams and especially those who travelled from long distances.
We hope to see you again next year.
