2018 - Middle Atlantic Region Hall of Fame - Ralph Errico

It is with extreme pleasure and excitement that the Middle Atlantic Region of Babe Ruth League announces one of the three newest members of the Middle Atlantic Region Hall of Fame. Ralph Errico will be officially recognized in ceremonies in the coming months. Once arrangements for his official induction is completed, Al Solanik will follow up with additional information. Ralph will be inducted in 2018.

Ralph currently serves as the Assistant Middle Atlantic Region Commissioner in charge of Softball. At the same time, he is the Northern NJ State Commissioner for Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken Baseball and Babe Ruth Softball. Ralph began volunteering with the Babe Ruth League in 1989 as a Coach, Manager, and Board Member of the Edison Angels Softball League. He served as League President from 1992 through 1995. In 1997, he became a Board Member of the Edison Boys organization. Ralph was elected a District Commissioner in 1996 and appointed as an Assistant Northern NJ State Commissioner in 2000. In 2008, Ralph was elected the State Commissioner of Northern NJ, a position he still holds. He coordinates all activities of NNJ Babe Ruth Baseball and Softball as well as Middle Atlantic Region Softball events and Tournaments. He has served as Regional Tournament Director for numerous Babe Ruth, Cal Ripken, and Babe Ruth Softball Tournaments. Ralph also serves as a Babe Ruth League Softball World Series Task Force Member annually.
