The Fort Bragg Timberwolves Baseball Team finished another fun season of play. This young team ended with an overall record of 11-9, narrowly missing the playoffs with some tough defeats down the stretch.

The players gained valuable experience this past season and Coach Dan Lifvendahl is excited about his team's prospects for the upcoming year.

Each player put forth a tremendous amount of effort and sacrificed a great deal to represent Wolves baseball. They took care of business in class and on the field. They should be commended for their hard work and recognized for their commitment to the team.

Several Timberwolves were honored and recognized for their fine accomplishments on the field. Four members of the team were selected to the NCL-I North All League first team and three other players were selected to the honorable mention list.

Matt Lemmon, Jake Kleinbach, Dillion Sullivan and Matt Freitas were honored as first team selections, while Brandon Tupper, Al Huerta and Cody Raudio earned honorable mention.

The players' accomplishments on the field were also recognized by the Santa Rosa Press Democrat after Lemmon, Kleinbach and Freitas were selected to the All-Empire first team, while teammates Tupper and Sullivan were chosen for the second team. Huerta and Raudio were also recognized once again after earning honorable mention.

Two players were able to capitalize on their participation by earning scholarships this past season. The Cob Berger Baseball Scholarship was awarded to Kleinbach and the Andy Johnston Scholarship was given to Lemmon. Each scholarship awarded the students $500 towards their future. Both of them were well-deserving recipients of the awards.

Congratulations on a terrific team performance, your effort on the field provided excitement to everyone who follows Timberwolf Baseball.
