Fundraisers – Once again we are looking to do a few fundraisers this year!!

Nick’s No Frills Supportive Fundraiser!! New this year, is a way for some teams to help contribute towards their PYSA. At Nick’s request, we invite the Tri-mite and Mite divisions to come out on Sunday May 27th from 9:00 am till 3:00 pm. The players will offer shoppers to assist in taking the shopper’s groceries to their vehicles and to return the cart for them. In return, we ask that the shopper give a small contribution to the PYSA. This is a fundraiser that parents have to accompany their child/player with, no exceptions. There will be 3 time

frames: 9:00-11:00, 11:00-1:00 and 1:00-3:00. We ask that families sign up for a time to come out. Please contact Michelle Reay at michellereay@hotmail.com .

Pizza cards are back!! This fundraiser is very easy and very successful so we will be selling the Domino’s Pizza Cards again!  Ask your coach for your copy of the pizza forms to sell once you have your first team meeting!! We are again asking that each player try their best to sell at least one pizza card and of course, if you can sell lots more than one that is fantastic!! Each player will receive $5 back per every card they sell after that first initial card. The more you sell the more money you get back!! We will also be looking for the player that sells the most (that player will then get next year’s registration fee for free). We will also be looking for the team that sells the most and that team will get a pizza party courtesy of the PYSA and Domino’s. The pizza fundraiser will begin May 9th and the orders will be due in by June 13th. Our goal is to have the pizza cards ready to give out to you to give to the buyers by July 11th. If you have any questions about this fundraiser please email michellereay@hotmail.com. More information will come with your coach.

**Twisted Treats Fundraiser!! New this year is a tasty way to raise money for your PYSA. On Sat July 28th from 12:00-9:00 - 20 % of the sales sold that day will go to the PYSA. Please be sure to come out that day and get some yummy ice cream so you can support your softball association.

* If you are a small business and would be interested in having a table at our Twisted Treats fundraising day please contact Edith Stone or Michelle Reay.

End of the year raffle draw!! We had such success and fun with the raffle draw from last year that we decided to do the raffle draw again this year. All of the money raised will go towards the new diamonds. If anyone has items they want to donate for the prize table (they can be gift certificates, items, food vouchers or even money to purchase items) please contact Michelle Reay at michellereay@hotmail.com . Also, we had many requests from families that wanted to sell tickets that we will be offering tickets to sell prior to the Fun Day.

SPIRIT WEAR – Paris Predators Spirit Wear will be available this year again. We are very excited to be teaming up with the Brant Sports Excellence Store in Paris to provide this wonderful opportunity to “show off” your Paris Softball Pride!!

**Order forms are available for you to fill out at the Brant Sports Excellence Store in Paris. PYSA will not be accepting any of the orders.

**Please note: Fundraisers are very important to our league and the support by you, our players and parents, is even more vitally important. Without these fundraisers and your continued support we would not have the funds to keep our league going, to be able to purchase new equipment, nor the means to raise funds for our new diamonds!! Thanks so much for your participation and support!!

Volunteers *Please know that we are always looking for new volunteers; with the number of our players expanding so rapidly we are growing very quickly. If you are able to help in any way please contact any of our members to see how you can help – see our Executive List for contact information.

**New Food Booth** With the new diamonds being built we will once again be able to offer a food booth. We are looking for volunteers and helpers to assist with getting the food booth ready and operational and to also assist in running the booth. If you are interested please contact anyone one of the executive.

Executive Volunteers: We need to have the number of our members increase. Please consider helping us plan and provide a great ball season for our players. We meet once a month and work together as a team to be prepared for the new ball season. It only needs to take a little of your time to participate.

Coaches: With our players expanding so is the number of our teams. We are always in need of parents, community members, and or athletes who are willing to donate some of their time to our youth to help teach sportsmanship, social skills and a pride in what they do. Please consider being a part of our Community team. If you have any questions, you can contact any one of our executive. We would love to hear from you!!

Sponsors – If you or someone you know would like to sponsor a softball team please have them contact Edith Stone or Michelle Reay. With our organization growing so rapidly we are always in need of more sponsors to keep up with our growing teams. We have great pride in our community and we would love to advertise any business, big or small, and proudly wear their business name on our team jerseys.
