Jeffery wins Triple Crown
Oakland's Matt Jeffery won the PenMar-WV League's Triple Crown, leading the league in batting average, home runs and runs batted in and the Oaks to the regular-season championship.
Jeffery had a .520 batting average, with 25 hits in 48 at-bats, hit two home runs and had 19 RBIs.
Jeffery also led the league in hits (25), runs (30), triples (2) and tied for the league lead in doubles (6). He was tied for third in stolen bases (6).
