Metro Umpires KC in conjunction with Pony Express Baseball in St Joseph, MO will hold umpire training classes for individuals who want to be certified as baseball umpires. The training will begin on Sunday, February 26th and Tuesday, February 28th. The classes will meet from Sunday and Tuesday from 6pm-9pm.


Sunday class will be held inside the MWSU Indoor practice facility 6-9pm


Tuesday class will be held at St Paul Lutheran(new gym) 6-9pm   4715 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO


All Metro Umpires KC are trained using the Sporting News Major League Rules. NCAA, High School Federation, American Legion, Pony, USSSA and Little League. Umpires have the option to work as many or as few games as they like. The average game fee earned by umpires is $30 for 1 ½ hours work, this is a great way to earn extra income, stay involved in the game of baseball and work in an exciting environment supporting our youth.
