True Pump down 8-0 put on a late game rally which fell just short, 8-7 to the West Berry Bashers . We were eliminated from the Summer league's season ending tourney. Our rivalry with the Bashers goes back years and tonight matchup was a typical close game that just happened to go their way in our last ever meeting. We finish the year at 4-7 after a slow start , and played well at the end of the year.It was a good effort as we made them earn it. Bert Salter and Sarah Babbitt led the way with each hitting a double and a triple. Tonights game was my last game with True Pump . We will all part ways and have fond memories of past glory days.
