The 2016 season is Coach Wyman’s second season as the Longhorns Head Coach. Coach Wyman is back home in Sugar Hill after leaving in 2011 for the Head Baseball coaching position at Norcross High School.
Coach graduated from Chattahoochee High School in Alpharetta, GA (Class of 2001) and Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC (Class of 2005). While at Presbyterian College, Coach Wyman played Catcher and 3B for the Blue Hose, lettering all four years. Prior to Norcross, Jonathan coached at North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee (2007 – 2010) and Lanier High School in Sugar Hill (2010 -2011). While at North Gwinnett, Jonathan was awarded the “Assistant Coach of the Year” for the 2009 season by the Gwinnett County Dugout Club. In 2013, Coach Wyman helped lead the Blue Devils to a 19-11 record and a 2nd Round appearance in the 6A State Playoffs. Last season, the Blue Devils posted an impressive 16-10 overall record. His overall record at Norcross is 44-38 over the past three seasons. In 2013, Coach Wyman was awarded the “Gwinnett County Coach of the Year” Award from the Gwinnett Daily Post. Coach Wyman coaches hitters and catchers at Lanier.

Coach Wyman teaches Health and PE at Lanier. Coach Wyman currently has his Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University and his Education Specialist Degree in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University.
Jonathan and his wife, PJ, have three daughters, Avery (10 years old), Ashlynn-Grace (5 years old), and Aleigh (3 years old) and a son, Knox (2 years old).
The Wymans currently live in Flowery Branch, GA.
