9. CODE OF CONDUCT

Prohibitions

Managers and players shall conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner at all times.  No manager or player shall commit the following:

   1. Lay a hand upon, shove or strike, or threaten an official. Players and managers guilty of such conduct shall be immediately suspended from further participation in the game and shall remain suspended until his conduct is reviewed by the league officials.  Players and managers guilty of such conduct shall be subject to suspension for the remainder of the season or expulsion from the league for life.

1.A. If an umpire feels threatened by a player or fan, the manager is obligated to diffuse the threatening situation. If manager does not diffuse threatening situation manager risks being suspended from games.

Purpose of Rule: If you can’t control your player, maybe he not the right fit for your team

( I don’t think above is necessary umpires eject already if they think this has occurred)
   6.

Penalties

   3. A player found in violation of any provision delineated in the codes of conduct, shall be on probation for the remainder of the current season + the next season. If a player is found in violation of the CODE of CONDUCT within the probation time, the acting Manager will serve suspended time which may be equal to suspended time or banishment from league player receives.

Purpose of Rule: Manager has an obligation to uphold all the rules  set forth by the league. Don’t sell out and have “Bad Character” or frequent offenders of “CODE OF CONDUCT” rules on your team. If all rules are not upheld then the  Manager also risks “suspended Time” or banishment from the League
   4. Any player found in violation of any provisions delineated in the codes of conduct, after being suspended from further participation in a game shall be suspended for the remainder of the season.

Lou/Neil

I have been trying to make up our game with Cheltenham since July 1, looking for weekday evening options.  Obviously, there is no incentive for a ‘B’ team to make up a game with an ‘A’ team if they do not need the point(s).  This evening John told me that he is unable to make the game up.  They played 2 ‘B’ games yesterday, have a ‘B’ game on Friday, and 2 ‘B’ games this coming Sunday.  Fortunately for us, the missed game will not affect our standings.  We will need to discuss this issue next year.
