Southport Youth Sports Association

SYSA’s recreational baseball league shall be committed to providing an organized, safe and enjoyable baseball league for the youth of the Southport community at all levels of competition. The mission of SYSA shall remain constant: To instill, in the youth of the community, ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority. The Board of Directors, league officials, coaches, umpires, parents and volunteers shall bear in mind at all times that the winning of games is secondary to the attainment of athletic skills and life skills by putting these young baseball players in extremely competitive situations. It is our intention to help them develop their character which will benefit them not only in baseball, but in life.
