PULLMAN, WA – Coming into his junior year, Pullman wide receiver/defensive back Isaiah Strong is already making some noise.

Anyone who saw what he did against Lakeside 9-Mile on Friday would be surprised too.

But if you know Pullman football, probably not.

“I was just thinking: catch every ball,” Strong said. “Once I catch it, make my move and try to get to the endzone. And I don’t care how many players are on me. I’m just trying to catch that ball.”

His last name is one way you’d describe his performance: Strong.

According to his coach, he had seven catches, four touchdowns and 368 total yards.

Finding out about the yardage left Strong in disbelief, saying “I didn’t know that. That’s crazy.”

Playing his third year of varsity, he still has another year left of high school football and he’s already gaining some high-profile attention.

“[Washington State], Stanford and Eastern [Washington] have all invited me

for an unofficial visit this upcoming football season,” Strong said.

Columbia, Washington and Oregon State are just some of the other schools who are interested in the 2020 prospect.

Norte Dame even invited him to a camp.

For this upcoming Friday, he hopes to build on his catches, and touchdowns and even get a “couple interceptions.”

Greyhounds take on North Central this Friday up in Spokane.
