TARKILL SOCCER CLUB

Tarkill Soccer Club is a member of the South Jersey Soccer League (SJSL-Boys) and the South Jersey Girls Soccer League (SJGSL-Girls).  We offer travel soccer programs starting at the U8 age level and continuing as high as U16 for boys and girls who have shown the ability to compete at a more advanced level of play.

The Boys play in the SJSL.  These games are played on Sundays and travel is typically limited to the South Jersey area.  There is a fall and spring season that consists of anywhere from 12-14 games based on the teams in your division.  You will play half of your game away and the other half at home.  Teams generally practice 2 days a week with 1 game on the weekend.  Travel teams also have the opportunity to play tournaments in both the fall and spring seasons.  These age level teams have tryouts once a year during the month of May.

The girls play in the SJGSL.  The games are played on Saturdays and travel is limited to the South Jersey area.  There is a fall and spring season that consists of anywhere from 12-14 games based on the teams in your division.  You will play half of your game away and the other half at home.  Teams generally practice 2 days a week with 1 game on the weekend.  Travel teams also have the opportunity to play tournaments in both the fall and spring seasons.  These age level teams have tryouts once a year during the month of May.

Travel soccer teams are a great opportunity for mid-level to advanced level players to compete and grow in the game accordingly.  Both leagues offer flighted play which allows the teams to match up against similar level teams so that the competition is appropriate.  If you have any questions regarding travel soccer, please feel free to contact one of our board members.
