Victor defeated a physical Salmon River team, 5-1 on Friday night (http://pointstreak.com/prostats/gamesheet_full.html?gameid=3250772).  Connor Gelabert opened the scoring early (2:49 into the first period) with a nifty wrist shot from the point that beat the goalie short side.  The game remained tight through the opening two periods.  However, the second period closed with Ashton Collazo opening a two-goal cushion just as the second period horn sounded.  Ashton got his second goal of the night early in the third.  The remaining goal scoring was all on special teams as Salmon River scored a short-handed goal to ruin the shutout; Evan Millspaugh and Sam Lambert closed out the game scoring two power-play goals.  Victor (10-0-2) finishes off the overnight weekend against Massena (4-3-0) on Saturday, Jan 20 at 1:00 at Massena Arena.
