Encinitas Reds Take 2nd Place at the USSSA Christmas Classic!!!

The Reds entered this tournament with some veteran players and some newcomers but the boys didn't let this stop them from playing the game the way they all know how...as a TEAM!!!

Going into Pool Play with a 2-0 record, giving up only 1 run, the Encinitas Reds earned the #1 Seed.

Arriving at Sweetwater Baseball Complex in Bonita bright and early, the boys braved the cold and showed their opponents what it means to be a RED!! As they battled the cold the boys stayed warm by hitting the ball in the gaps, playing awesome defense, and having stellar performances on the mound, as well as launching some amazing HOMERUNS!!!

They finished the tournament with a 3-1 record and the cheers from their family and friends.
