The Storm top Northern Ohio Baseball 5-3 in the Wellington Tournament. Avon Lake scored two runs in the top of the sixth and held on in the bottom of the sixth for the victory. The Storm move to 2-0 in the tournament.

The Storm jumped out early on the Lake Erie Thunder and never looked back. The boys start off 1-0 in the Wellington Tournament defeating the Thunder 19-2.

The Boys finish 2-1 in Mayfield
Illness and injury did not stop the Storm from a good showing in Mayfield. The boys were one game from the championship, but fell short to the Kenston Bombers 4-1. Avon Lake allowed one run after the first inning and only ten runs in three games. The Storm will begin league play on Tuesday.

The boys top Lightning Baseball 9-0 in game 2 of pool play. With the score 1-0, the Storm scored 3 runs in the 5th inning and another 5 runs in the 6th to secure the victory.
Avon Lake Storm Take Game 1 of the Mayfield Tournament
In a 6 inning tournament game, the Mentor Cardinals and the Avon Lake Storm saw 5 lead changes. The Storm went into the top of the 6th down 6-3. The boys scored 4 runs to take a 7-6 lead into the the bottom of the 6th inning. Avon Lake held on in a thrilling win as the Cardinals left the game tying run at 3rd base. The Storm are 1-0 in the Mayfield Spring Warmup Tournament.
