The 2019 Belmont Bandits 11u team (Crawford) will have a two-phase tryout on 12/1 and 12/2 and these dates MAY change due to weather. This is for 11u play this late winter through mid summer season. Practices begin in January and we play through July usually.

We will hold the tryouts at our practice field in Belmont. We welcome all interested prospects to inquire about the tryout. Playing age for this level is the players age as of May 1st of 2019. If the player turns 12 on April 30th - he is ineligible. If he turns 12 on May 1, 2, 3, etc - he can play 11u with us.

At this tryout, we will do a pretty normal battery of fly balls, ground balls, hitting, bunting, pitching, catching (if needed) base running and agilities. Please be prepared by bringing your own equipment and cleats and give your best showing. By offering a two part tryout, there is a chance one bad day can be overcome.

Info about the Belmont Bandits:  We are a competitive travel baseball team that focuses on practicing more than playing. We do travel 3-4 times per season outside of the greater Charlotte area for play, and play all of our local games in multiple organizations around the Charlotte area. We have two home practice fields, a batting cage and three bullpen mounds. Over the last three years we have a win/loss record of 96-25, so we are looking to continue to produce the best baseball team we can make. This is not a recreational baseball team, and your player would be coached hard if on the team. FYI- during tryouts - we won't be coaching much as it is an evaluation time.
