Carolina Sparks Basketball Association is a non profit organization that fosters regional and national amateur sports competition in accordance with the standards of and under the rules prescribed by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). We endeavor to develop and support female athletes in Greenwood, South Carolina and surrounding areas for such competition. Carolina Sparks Basketball Association will compete on the local, state and national levels in various leagues and invitational tournaments.
As we enter our sixth season, we are very excited about what the future holds for our organization. We will have 8th and 10th grade teams. It is our desire to see every participant of this program grow in every aspect of life. Therefore, we will utilize our time with each one wisely. Our success as coaches in this organization is not limited to the number of games we win. It is measured by how much each player has grown in her understanding of the game of basketball and her progress off the court from the start to the end of the season. We believe in teaching our players to be leaders on the court, in school and in their respective communities.
