Dylan was an Inderkum Tiger to his core. His love and pride for the school showed in his approach to academics, athletics, clubs, and how he treated fellow students, faculty, and staff. While he left us on July 12, 2013, he is always in our hearts. Thank you for helping honor him. We are incredibly grateful that you are taking to time to apply for the scholarship in his name.

Testimonial from Coach Stark-Inderkum Football Coach
I had the opportunity to be Dillon's teacher in his freshman PE class at Inderkum HS. Dillon was a very solid student that always started, finished and accomplished all tasks and activities on time, with effort and a smile.
As I began to get to know Dillon I found out he was a baseball player and particularly a catcher. I soon started talking to him about baseball, catching and hitting. I suggested to him that he should try football and by his sophomore year he had become a successful two sport athlete (baseball and football).
Dillon became a leader in both the Inderkum baseball and football programs. In the football program Dillon soon became a varsity starter at offensive tackle and during Dillon's senior year he was a team captain and all league player.
Dillon was well respected by school peers, teachers, administrators, teammates and coaches. Always respectful, hard working, accountable, loyal and tough are the reasons Dillon was a natural leader.
The football program has an annual Dillon Akins award that goes to the player that defines all of his characteristics.
We love you Dillon, #75
Rest in peace
Terry Stark
