League Format: Teams are organized into divisions based on age of the child. Teams are capped at 8 to 10 players each. Play is 5 on 5, with no intentional contact allowed.

Schedule: The Season begins Jan. 13th and ends Mar. 10th. It consists of a 9 week season beginning with the jamboree. You will play 7 regular season games, a jamboree game, and one day playoff/championship game. Exact schedules for all leagues are TBD. All games will be on Saturday Mornings/Sunday Afternoons and will last no more than an hour.

Location: location in Villa Rica/Paulding/Douglas that is more convenient.

Practice: We encourage no more than one (1) practice per week, and for that practice to be held an hour prior to the game at the field on Saturday/Sunday, thus making it a once per week commitment for kids, parents, and coaches.

Equipment: The league provides each player a Flag Football reversible jersey and flag belts. Players should wear shorts either navy or black preferably no pockets. Any type of cleats except metal spikes. Mouth piece is required.

Awards: All kids will receive a participation award with trophies being awarded to the top teams.

FGS Sports will redefine youth sports in Georgia . We believe that participation in an organized youth sport activity is more than just the sport… it’s about the entire experience for the parent and the child.

FGS (Fun, Good Sportsmanship and Safety League) stands for and believes in these basic fundamentals:

Having Fun: Everyone Plays. Coaches emphasize the "working together" aspect of the games. The kids will develop friendships, master new skills amist healthy competition. We avoid spoiling the fun by focusing more on skills development and enjoyment of the game than on the score or outcome.

Good Sportsmanship. We believe that each child should have the proper consideration, fairness, respect and a sense of fellowship with one's competitor. These concepts are comprised of Fair play, Sportsmanship and Character. Fair play refers to all participants having an equitable chance to play. Character refers to values and habits that determine the way that child will respond to failures and successes..

Safety. We know that safety is essential in any Sports League when it comes to our children. All Coaches are screened and our Officials are certified and trained.
