Buds Spas & Pools holds the 1/2 point tie breaker based on their first place finish in regular season standings.
If other teams are tied at the end of the 10 game round robin playoffs, standings will be determined in the following manner:1 - Head to head results in playoffs
2 - Most wins in playoffs
Top four teams will advance to the semi-finals. 1st vs 4th, 2nd vs 3rd. The teams that finish 5th and 6th are eliminated from any further competition.
Playoff Penalty Minutes
Any player who receives a major penalty will be suspended from the game in which the infraction occurred, and will be suspended from the NEXT GAME ALSO.
Any player who exceeds 14 minutes (accumulates 15 minutes or more) in penalties will be suspended for 1 game. If a player again exceeds the allowed limit of minutes in penalties the suspension will be doubled (i.e., the length of suspension will be; 2 games for 2nd limit offense; 4 games for 3rd limit offense etc). After serving each of his/her suspension the player's penalty total will be reduced to 8 minutes.
Spare list was frozen as of January 9. No new players can be added to the spare list for the remainder of the season.
In the 10 game playoff round robin a team can only use the same spare player to a maximum of 5 games and not more than 2 games in a row.
For the semi-finals and finals, spare players must be from the league.
