We are the JERSEY BULLDOGS, a club baseball organization organized by former Cincinnati Reds player Mark Cieslak consisting of teams from 9u up to the High School level, playing out of Northern Bergen County, New Jersey. Our teams have accomplished much since its inception in 2004, but most of all we have produced outstanding baseball players, who understand not just the how of baseball, but also its character and spirit which will last long after their playing days are over. Our teams and players have appeared in just about every major tournament in the area, as well as Cooperstown Dreams Park, Triple Crown World Series, and leagues sanctioned by the USSSA, ECTB, CERBO, and PBI. All are now playing at the College level and are no longer active as a team. This web site is designed to track their progress. Please do not contact us to inquire of openings, since the team no longer competes as a team.

St. Joseph's Regional High School in Montvale, New Jersey recently announced that Mark Cieslak, longtime general manager of the Jersey Bulldog Baseball program, will take over as head baseball coach after the end of the 2015 season. At that time, long time coach Frank Salvano will retire.
The entire Bulldog organization congratulates Mark on this great achievement. He takes over a storied program and one of our nation's finest. POLEWAY ATHLETE OF THE WEEK!
Congrats Rob Kaminsky--The Record ATHLETE OF THE
APPROVED BATS FOR HIGH SCHOOL PLAY
Bat performance is measured in a controlled laboratory environment using an air cannon as described in the glossary. To measure the performance of NCAA baseball bats, the Bat-Ball Coefficient of Restitution (or BBCOR) test protocol is followed. The National Highschool Federation will use the Ball Exit Speed Ratio (or BESR) test for the 2011 season, and will adopt the BBCOR test thereafter.
The performance of some composite bats can change with use. To help ensure composite bats do not exceed the performance limit, the NCAA developed an Accelerated Break-In test protocol (or ABI). All composite bats must pass the ABI test protocol to be NCAA certified.
We thank the NCAA Bat Certification facility at the Washington State University Sport Science Laboratory for this information.

BULLDOGS MAKE GREAT SHOWING IN SUMMER NATIONALS!
The Jersey Bulldogs went 5 and 0 and into the semi finals July 25 through 31 in the 2009 Triple Crown Summer National Tournament at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. They defeated nationally ranked Yadkin Valley, NC in the preliminary, along with the Hughesville Yankees and Kansas City Express in the pool play. They then defeated great teams in the Virginia Cavaliers and the Team Rawlings Red Sox of St.Louis, Missouri before falling in the semi to another Jersey team, the Tri State Arsenal. Tri State won the overall championship and the Bulldogs congratulate them on defending their title.
