Kentucky Mudcats end 2013-14 season winning 3 of 4 final tournaments

The Kentucky Mudcats has another outstanding season in 2013.  The Mudcats finished with a record of 32-19, while playing mainly 12 year old teams this season.  The Cats finished the season really strong while winning 3 of the final 4 tournaments they entered.  The tournament season was really good for the Kentucky Mudcats: we were seated very well to win the Pegion Forge tournament and the rains came on Sunday forcing the tournament director to cancell the playoff portion of the tournament.  The Mudcats played really well in the Rumble by the river tournament finishing with a runner up position and then the Cats reeled of an impressive tournament campain by winning the Summer Sizzler II tournament at the Flash Baseball complex in Hammersville, Ohio.  In the NEKA tournament the Mudcats forced a championship game by defeating the 12U Raceland Crawdad's by the score of 6-5.  Neither team could come up with a day to finish so a co-champion was decleared and the Crawdads went to the AABC East Regional Tournament for the NEKA, becasue they won the regular season crown.   The Kentucky Mudcats then won the Ashland Blaze Summer Slam tourament without loosing a game in the the double elimination tournament.  The Cat's closed out the summer season with a semi-final run at the Maysville Summer Slam.  All in all each of the players really took individual strides this summer and like all Mudcat teams they got better as the season went on.  THE CATS WILL CONCLUDE THEIR TRAVEL BASEBALL EXPERIENCE NEXT SUMMER with a trip to Cooperstown All-Star Village.

Kentucky Mudcats Complete Fall Schedule record 13-1

The Kentucky Mudcats completed the fall schedule at 13-1, the cats played fewer games this fall due to our Mudcats Fall Baseball Program which all our players received instruction through. The Fall Program was very good for all our players, they recieved instruction and games inside the program which allowed us to develop a few more pitchers and catchers and it allowed us to place players in another defensive position. The Cat's finished the fall with the #1 seed in the NEKA fall classic tournament, which was cut short due to the weather. The tournament got all the pool games completed and the first round game between the Ashland Gray and the Hungtington Patriots before bad weather set in for the fall.

Mudcats finish fall program for 2012

The Kentucky Mudcats concluded thier fall baseball program on Sunday October 14, we had 36 dedicated players in the program. The ages ranged from 8 to 11 years old and every player seemed to improve their skills. We were really lucky with the weather, we only missed one day of instruction and we were able to get all our games played.
