Keystone Nationals Select Baseball has hosted two of four spring tournaments in Abbottstown, PA at the end of April and beginning of May.
Our 10u Nats battled hard to a runner-up finish in the championship game of their four-team tournament, which included MAD Baseball (tournament winner), Littlestown Storm, and Greencastle A’s.
The 12u Blue squad cruised to the tournament title, going 5-0 on the weekend. The championship game saw the Nats play a well-coached and talented Bucks team from Kent Island, while also battling the rain. The other teams in the tournament, who also brought stiff competition to all, were MAD Baseball and Spooky Nook.
While the Keystone Nationals were officially the hosts of the tournaments, 10u and 12u Blue Assistant Coach Matt Baker and his family organized and kept things rolling smoothly through each weekend. Through tough weather on both weekends and a lot of baseball, the fields were always ready; music played between innings, umpires helped move games along (despite disagreements with calls) and fans were well-informed and supportive of their teams. The Nats wish to express a heartfelt thanks to Coach Baker for the hard work, time, and fun on both weekends. We look forward to the 10u and 12u tournaments to come in the next couple of months!
Congratulations and Good Luck to East Pennsboro 11U All-Stars and Cedar Cliff's 12U All-Stars teams. We know many of these boys as they play for the Keystone Nationals as well.
District 6, Section 4 Minor 11U Champion - Advances to State Championship hosted by Bradford Regional Little League.

Keystone Nationals facility is getting a FACELIFT!
... come inside and check it out
It's important for you to know that ALL of our facility upgrades are being done by volunteers. We are extremely grateful to everyone who has "pitched" to help make this all possible. Our first big project was the turf installation and finally..... our turf installation is complete! Currently, we have turf covering our entire workout area!! Next..we painted the walls. We did this for 2 reasons 1) the look. we wanted our walls to look like to like an outfield wall 2) More importantly...it increases visabiltiy for the players. Next...we went to work on the mezzanine conversion... and we now have a spectator lounge. We are not done yet!
