SPORTS AT THE BEACH (Midway Speedway Hot Stove Classic)

August 20, 2012
Three great days of baseball in Georgetown, Delaware!!! The boys played seven games, scoring ninety-one runs--including 20 over the fence--in what was an awesome display of offensive power. The Championship game was a very hard played game in which the lead changed numerious times, but Fusion fought back with tenacity. With timely hitting and great pitching we finally prevailed 16-15 after nine innings. Thanks for the excitement and a tremendous team effort throughout!!!!

Diamond Nation Super 14u Fall Invitational

October 15, 2011
What a weekend!!! The boys toughed it out with only nine players Saturday, winning both games. The following day we won our first game with nine, solidifying the top seed in our bracket. In the semifinals we were matched against a very good team from Long Island, NY. It was a hard fought battle in which the boys showed their true heart and desire, scoring 2 runs in the late innings to win 4-2. In the Championship game we met an excellent team from Medford, NJ. The boys again played their hearts out and showed great mental toughness, but cames up short.

2011 Disney World "Turn Back The Clock" Tournament

The boys showed a lot of heart and determination over a very hot and humid four day period. Playing a total of five games and winning the final day to take the Consolation Championship. The Coaches and Parents are proud the boys did so well, along with having a great time at Disney World.

2011 Diamond Nation " Super Fall Invitational"

Our young men did one heck of a job winning the Championship, playing three games on the final day and in the process beating high quality teams from Penn. and New Jersey. Enough cannot be said about how hard the boys worked this year. The extra time the boys devoted to practice has really paid off. The Coaches and Parents could not be more proud, as we we watch our boys grow into fine young men.

The boys had a great time at Cooperstown Dream Park, finishing with a 6-2 record. They ranked 29th out of 104 teams from around the country. They continued to show their never die attitude, when against a very good Long Island Team they scored the winning run in the seventh inning. The coaches and parents are once again very proud of the way the boys played baseball, but are equally as proud of the way they conducted themselves throughout the week.

The boys playing in their first 60-90 tournament had a great weekend, finishing 1st. The coaches and parents are proud of the professional commitment and attitude of the boys over the entire weekend. Keep up the good work!
