ü  Cheer Competition is in October. For those of you that are new to Pop Warner Cheer our girls do have a cheer competition at the end of the season. It is a great event! The girls work hard all season for this. Check out the video of Tiny- Might/ Junior Mitey Might Cheer team at competition in 2013. This event is usually in October but I wanted to give you a heads up on what to expect. http://youtu.be/-t7FsrbF6b8

Come and join our squad and learn new, cool dance and cheer moves.  Help us Cheer for our teams...You'll have lots of fun!!!

Our program is taught by volunteer coaches that have been trained in the Pop Warner Way of Youth Cheerleading and Dance. That means that our Cheerleaders not only learn cheers they also learn how to work as a team and be leaders.

The Cheer season starts August 1st the teams practices for 6 hours a week and perform at every game for the team in their age division. The Cheer teams also have the opportunity to perform and compete at the Conference Cheer and Dance Competition at the end of the season.

The Spirit Program is growing in numbers each year due to the popularity of the sport. In an effort to keep pace with the many new changes in the cheer & dance industry, there are a few basic rules that are unique to Pop Warner Spirit Squads. For a complete list of Pop Warner guidelines, please visit the Pop Warner website.

Pop Warner Cheer History

Cheerleading was officially recognized in the 1970's, but has been a part of the Pop Warner program for several decades. The first ever National Cheerleading competition was held in DeKalb County, GA. Today, 160,000 children are participating in cheerleading and dance around the United States.

Participation in the Pop Warner Spirit Program provides kids an opportunity to perform in an organized, supervised, safety-oriented environment. Pop Warner programs emphasize fun for all and encourage the development of qualities important long after Pop Warner days are gone.
